Sales Representative – Textile Industry

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative to join a dynamic manufacturing and supply business serving the textile, clothing, and retail sectors. You will drive sales growth, develop strong customer relationships, and promote the company’s products within an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct regular customer visits and deliver sales presentations.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with customers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and on‑time delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Resolve customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems and sales tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years sales experience within the textile industry.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Diploma or qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (preferred).
• Valid South African driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.

What we offer

• Salary R12,000 – R15,000 per month (depending on experience)

• Cellphone allowance of R500 per month
