Sales Representative – Montague Gardens

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join Albatross Food in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. You will be responsible for growing our customer base, promoting our product range and ensuring timely order fulfilment across your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities to increase sales.
• Visit customers regularly to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Achieve sales targets and drive profitable growth within the assigned territory.
• Introduce new products and implement company promotions.
• Monitor customer stock levels, capture orders accurately and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Respond to customer queries, resolve issues promptly and assist with collections to keep accounts within agreed credit terms.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and customer trends.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Previous external sales experience, preferably in FMCG or wholesale distribution.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing accounts.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and ability to use mobile sales applications.
