Sales Representative - Johannesburg (Sports Medical industry)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Sales Representative to promote our sports‑medical products in Johannesburg. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, sports teams and retailers to generate new business and grow existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads and convert them into long‑term customers.
• Manage distinct customer segments with tailored sales approaches.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of anatomy, injury mechanisms, rehabilitation and recovery principles.
• Explain product benefits, provide on‑site demonstrations and basic staff training.
• Develop structured account‑development plans to increase sales with existing customers.
• Log all customer interactions, follow‑ups and opportunities accurately.
• Prepare quotations, follow through to order closure and provide feedback on product performance.
• Plan and execute weekly/monthly sales routes aligned to territory priorities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and produce regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and maintain professional, diplomatic client relationships.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; further studies in physiology or anatomy are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in sports‑medical equipment sales, B2B sales, medical consumables, or related sectors.
• Understanding of anatomy, injury mechanisms, rehabilitation and recovery principles.
