Sales Product Effectiveness Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Product Effectiveness Trainer to develop and deliver product knowledge programmes for Pharmacy Representatives. The role focuses on equipping the sales force with the confidence and positioning skills needed to engage pharmacists and pharmacy staff while ensuring compliance with SAHPRA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding and continuous product training programmes.
• Create engaging learning content, workshops and practical sessions.
• Conduct product knowledge competency assessments.
• Support product launches with training material and readiness programmes.
• Develop competitor product knowledge and positioning tools.
• Monitor representatives’ product knowledge competency and identify development opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with SAHPRA regulations and company policies.
• Keep accurate product training records and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy, BSc Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other relevant healthcare qualification.
• 3–5 years’ experience in training/L&D within the pharmaceutical industry, or as a registered pharmacist, or as a pharmaceutical sales representative.
