About the role
The company is a well‑established medical device manufacturer seeking a Sales Manager focused on dental products. The role is based in Johannesburg and involves driving sales growth within the dental market.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term relationships with assigned customers.
- Develop, execute, and regularly review account plans aligned with commercial strategies.
- Plan customer visits, document outcomes, and deliver compelling product presentations.
- Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
- Coordinate promotional materials and support company‑led events.
- Provide product training and ongoing support to customers.
- Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to achieve objectives.
- Meet or exceed sales revenue targets for the assigned territory.
Required profile
- Based in Johannesburg or nearby.
- 3–5 years of sales experience in the medical devices industry, specifically dental equipment/consumables/implants.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Degree in Dentistry preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
