Sales Lead

About the role

Katope ITM is seeking an experienced Sales Lead to drive business development and expand its footprint across South Africa and the Anglophone region. Reporting to the Director of the Anglophone Division, the role focuses on generating revenue through strategic sales and client acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a South African business development strategy aligned with regional goals.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate clients across multiple industries.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and generate qualified sales opportunities.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Promote the full portfolio of HR and business solutions, including recruitment, executive search, EOR, payroll, temporary staffing, training and consulting.
• Build and nurture relationships with C‑level executives and key decision‑makers.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities to increase client value.

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales, business development or account management, preferably within HR or business services.
• Strong commercial acumen with a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior leadership.
