Sales Executive - SEO & Digital Marketing

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia; its clients include startups, digital agencies and tech platforms. This is a full-time, remote Sales Executive position for a client, a fast-growing digital marketing agency specialising in SEO and performance marketing. You will drive new business through outbound sales, working remotely while attending quarterly in-person team meetups and strategy sessions in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Drive outbound sales through cold calling, email outreach and LinkedIn prospecting
• Identify and qualify business opportunities in the SEO and digital marketing space
• Conduct discovery calls and present tailored SEO solutions to potential clients
• Maintain and update pipelines using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Collaborate with internal marketing and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets and KPIs
• Stay up to date with SEO trends and digital marketing innovations

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in an SEO, digital marketing or marketing agency environment
• Minimum 2 years in a Sales Executive or Business Development role
• Demonstrated track record of closing deals and hitting revenue targets
• Experience with outbound sales and high call volumes
• Must be based in Cape Town for the quarterly meetups

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SEO services and digital marketing solutions
• Proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
