Sales Development Representative (French Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Development Representative who will be the first point of contact in the sales cycle for our industry‑leading SaaS platform, Diligent. This remote position focuses on generating qualified leads for Business Development Executives and Pre‑sales Consultants, helping organisations improve governance, risk, compliance and board management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities in targeted industries through cold‑calling, email outreach and referrals.
• Map customer organisations to locate influencers and decision‑makers.
• Qualify prospects by understanding their goals, pain points and how Diligent’s solutions can add value.
• Schedule appointments using proven sales methodologies and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
• Continuously expand industry knowledge to educate prospects and raise awareness of our GRC suite.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales development or lead generation role.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Fluent French language skills and legal right to work in South Africa.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable engaging senior personnel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
