Sales Dealership Advisor (Call Centre)

About the role

As a Sales Dealership Advisor you will engage with clients, drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience. The position operates on a performance‑based salary system and aligns with OUTsurance’s values of awesome service, passion, honesty and humanity.

Key responsibilities

• Convert leads and quotes into sales while meeting minimum quantity and quality targets.
• Communicate regularly with Dealership account managers.
• Guide customers through product options and assist them in making purchasing decisions.
• Conduct outbound telephone outreach to prospective clients, highlighting product benefits.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to provide accurate information.
• Apply persuasion techniques to close sales and handle calls/emails professionally.
• Achieve individual and team sales objectives and contribute to overall organisational goals.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Completed FAIS Regulatory Exams (RE or full qualification).
• Previous call‑centre experience, preferably in telesales.
• Computer literacy.
• Relevant tertiary or call‑centre qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in short‑term insurance is a plus.
• Strong selling, negotiating and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Attention to detail, initiative, adaptability and integrity.
