Sales & Customer Associate – Springs Mall

About the role

The Sales & Customer Associate works on the showroom floor of Springs Mall, delivering an exceptional in‑store experience and converting visits into sales. You will support the Store Supervisor and Showroom Manager by handling sales, customer service, and basic stock duties.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers, understand their needs and convert interactions into sales while demonstrating product features, pricing and promotions.
• Guide customers through the full purchase journey, from selection and ordering to payment and after‑sales support.
• Maintain accurate product knowledge, pricing, and catalogue information to ensure correct quoting.
• Capture orders, process payments, refunds and credits, and keep records compliant for reporting and audits.
• Assist with stock handling, floor replenishment and visual merchandising, following stock control procedures.
• Adhere to cash‑handling policies, internal controls and risk‑escalation processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet showroom targets and support promotional activities.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Customer‑facing sales experience with a strong service mindset.
• Homeware retail experience is advantageous.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
