About the role

homechoice is seeking a Sales & Customer Associate to work at the Key West Shopping Centre in Gauteng. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional in‑showroom experience, converting visits into sales and supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor, understand their needs and convert interactions into sales.
• Demonstrate products, communicate features, benefits, pricing and promotions.
• Achieve individual sales targets, conversion rates and productivity expectations.
• Process orders, documentation, payments, refunds and credits accurately and timely.
• Maintain strong product, pricing and promotion knowledge and ensure quoting accuracy.
• Support basic stock handling, floor replenishment and uphold visual merchandising standards.
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused sales experience and resolve basic queries.
• Adhere to cash‑handling, compliance and quality procedures and report any risks.
• Collaborate with team members, support promotions and be flexible with shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Customer‑facing sales experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience is advantageous.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
