Sales Consultant (Security & Retail)

About the role

We are seeking a target‑driven Sales Consultant to grow retail and trade sales of physical security and décor solutions across the West Rand and wider Gauteng area. You will represent a premium, household‑name brand and benefit from an uncapped commission structure that rewards your performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the sales strategy to expand the customer base, generate new leads and consistently meet ambitious monthly targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail customers, architects, designers and contractors through face‑to‑face interactions.
• Conduct competitor analysis, track market trends and pricing.
• Use the sales management system to issue timely quotes, report lead status and track won/lost business.
• Manage showroom displays and represent the brand at home shows, trade exhibitions and promotional events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of successful external sales experience, preferably in security, construction or related building industries.
• Established network with architects, interior designers or building contractors is a strong advantage.
• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing or a related business discipline.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel throughout Gauteng.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Syspro or similar ERP/CRM sales tracking tools.
