About the role
As a Sales Consultant at Leroy Merlin, you will be the face of the store, helping customers discover products and solutions that meet their needs while creating a welcoming shopping experience. You will drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to customer loyalty.
Key responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers as the in‑store representative of Leroy Merlin.
- Identify products and solutions that fit customer needs.
- Create a positive, welcoming, and helpful shopping environment.
- Drive in‑store sales through effective product knowledge and interaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and long‑term loyalty.
- Support overall store performance and success.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer applications efficiently.
- Physical capability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift/move stock when necessary.
