Sales & Business Development Executive

About the role

An established premium solutions provider serving hospitality and commercial clients seeks a polished, commercially‑minded Sales & Business Development Executive. You will engage warm inbound enquiries, understand client needs, and convert qualified opportunities into signed agreements while supporting broader commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound and referred enquiries, qualify opportunities and manage a personal pipeline from enquiry to agreement.
• Conduct consultative client meetings, present solutions, deliver presentations and negotiate pricing within approved frameworks.
• Prepare accurate proposals, handle objections, close deals and coordinate hand‑over to implementation teams.
• Support the Commercial Director with market analysis, channel performance, discount structures and special commercial projects.
• Maintain complete and up‑to‑date records in Zoho CRM, providing visibility of pipeline and sales progress.

Required profile

• Matric certificate; tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Management is advantageous.
• Proven experience converting warm opportunities into signed business in a consultative B2B environment.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills with senior hospitality decision‑makers.
• Commercial acumen with comfort handling pricing, margins and basic analysis.
• Based in Cape Town (or willing to relocate) with a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
