Sales Assistant – Luxury Retail (Cape Town)

About the role

The Luxury Retail Brand is looking for an ambitious, well‑presented Sales Assistant to join its Belville store in Cape Town. The role focuses on delivering a personalised luxury shopping experience while supporting store management and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalised customer service and build long‑term relationships.
• Achieve individual and store KPI targets through proactive selling.
• Support the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Maintain premium visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is clean and inviting.
• Process sales, exchanges, refunds and gift‑wrapping accurately.
• Assist with stock receiving, control, replenishment and regular stock counts.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, motivating team members to deliver outstanding service.
• Adhere to company policies and operational procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Minimum two years experience in premium or luxury retail.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong sales track record with proven ability to meet targets.
• Professional, polished appearance and customer‑focused attitude.
• Honest, dependable and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.
