Sales and Service Consultant

About the role

Lesaka Technologies is seeking a Sales and Service Consultant to support its sales and customer service operations in Tembisa. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, educating them about financial products, promoting digital channels, and assisting with product activation.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to assess financial service needs and provide appropriate assistance.
• Support account‑related enquiries, account origination, card issuing, and product activation.
• Identify and convert leads into sales while ensuring regulatory compliance (FICA, POPI, NCR, FAIS, TCF).
• Encourage customers to use digital and self‑service channels, reducing reliance on cash transactions.
• Handle complaints professionally, escalating when beyond authority.
• Meet performance targets, contribute to revenue generation, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a target‑driven environment with strong ethical conduct.
• Ability to explain financial products and digital services clearly and accurately.
• Willingness to follow strict verification, privacy, and risk management procedures.
