Sales Agent (Financial Services)

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for enthusiastic Sales Agents to join its Polokwane team. You will help build a client base, market and sell a range of financial products, and contribute to the financial wellbeing of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
• Promote and sell Old Mutual’s financial products in line with company standards.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to community financial education.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
• 6‑12 months sales or retail experience (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Strong communication, numeracy and attention‑to‑detail.
• High energy, self‑driven and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp and other digital communication tools.
