Sales Administrator

About the role

Dynamic Plastics, a leading plastic manufacturer, is seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to join its sales team in Johannesburg. You will act as the primary point of contact for order processing, customer communication, and internal coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient sales operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Sales Team.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and related documentation.
• Liaise with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and general enquiries.
• Maintain and update customer records and sales databases.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Monitor order progress and provide regular updates to customers.
• Maintain filing systems and ensure sales documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Assist with stock availability enquiries and inventory coordination.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and customer orders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Perform general office administration duties.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Sales Administrator or similar administrative role.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Sage.
