About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a salaried Financial Advisor to serve clients in King Williams Town and surrounding rural areas. You will provide tailored advice on a range of financial products, ensuring high‑quality service while driving new business and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, processing cases, handling complex queries and resolving issues.
• Analyse client problems to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive visitors, respond to information requests and refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Record follow‑up actions and update the CRM system after each client interaction.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations and gather information to assess client interest.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for prospective accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory codes, obtaining supervisor approval for any exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for the assigned geographic region to identify development opportunities.
• Build a personal network, represent Old Mutual at sector events and gather market intelligence.
• Conduct research and data exploration to support business development.
