About the role
Moore Johannesburg is seeking motivated individuals to join its SAICA trainee programme starting in 2027. As a trainee accountant you will gain hands‑on experience across audit, advisory and tax while working closely with managers, directors and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit engagements for a variety of clients.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Perform analytical procedures and evaluate internal controls.
- Engage directly with clients to understand business operations and challenges.
- Gain exposure to multiple industries and, where possible, to different service lines.
Required profile
- Strong intellectual curiosity and independent thinking.
- Ability to think critically and challenge ideas respectfully.
- Willingness to take early responsibility and contribute from day one.
- Commitment to a three‑year training pathway leading to SAICA qualification.
