Risk Prevention & Support Specialist

About the role

MSX International is hiring a Risk Prevention & Support Specialist in Johannesburg. The specialist manages dealer warranty and service department training, gives audit counselling, answers questions about ESB and Warranty, and reviews claims submitted by dealerships. The role also involves travelling to dealer locations for audits and training when requested.

Key responsibilities

• Review claims received in assigned sort groups through the OEM's claim payment system (MCA) to check whether each claim meets policy guidelines.
• Analyse dealer information to identify claims audit targets.
• Use multiple Ford systems to analyse claims data and look for anomalies, then set a monthly calendar of audit or training targets.
• Determine whether claims are valid and communicate potential claim chargebacks to dealers based on OEM business rules.
• Provide backup support to Warranty specialist operations when needed.
• Identify process improvements and best practices, and complete other tasks and projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent; some college coursework desired.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive claims.
• Mechanical automotive background required.
• Previous ESP or warranty claims programme knowledge desired.
• Excellent time management, organisational, written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, professionalism and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Computer literacy certified in the MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with OASIS and ACESII is desired but not required.
