Retail Store Assistant (Bromhof)

About the role

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Retail Store Assistant to support the Bromhof store in Randburg. You will help manage daily store operations, ensure administrative tasks are completed according to policy, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and report customer compliments and complaints to management.
• Build professional relationships with customers and resolve stock queries.
• Handle refunds, returns, shorts and overs at the point of sale.
• Verify deliveries and invoices for accuracy.
• Assist the Receiving Manager with distribution centre claims.
• Control high‑risk stock and perform daily cash reconciliation.
• Order and receive branch change requirements to maintain cash flow.
• Maintain document control for float, petty cash and cash on hand.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP.
• Previous retail experience.
• South African citizenship, clear criminal and credit record.
• Valid driver’s licence or reliable transport.
