Retail Salesperson – Trade Route Mall

About the role

Pepkor Lifestyle is hiring a Salesperson for its HiFi Corp store at Trade Route Mall in Johannesburg South. This permanent, entry‑level position requires Grade 12 and some retail sales experience. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving product sales and maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales and achieve income targets.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide advice.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Attract and retain customers through proactive engagement.
• Maintain merchandise displays and stock levels.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health‑safety guidelines.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 7–12 months of sales experience (retail preferred).
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Basic retail knowledge and product knowledge.
• Ability to work towards sales targets.
• Teamwork, interpersonal skills and self‑motivation.
