Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

Our client, a leading retailer with upscale stores in Benoni, Sandton and Randburg, is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales of adult products. This permanent, shift‑based position offers a base salary of R5,000 plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through personalized customer consultations.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on adult product ranges.
• Handle cash‑ups, daily reconciliations and store opening/closing procedures.
• Perform stock taking, inventory management and merchandising tasks.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Extroverted, energetic and mature personality.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
