Retail Lead - Full Time (40 Hours)

About the role

Nike Durban is looking for a Retail Lead working 40 hours per week to deliver world-class service to consumers. The Lead coordinates, coaches and motivates the team in their area, supports daily business operations to meet sales targets, and acts as a brand ambassador for Nike's initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, coach and motivate the team in your area while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
• Support daily business management to achieve sales targets, including digital services, visual merchandising, the sales floor and promotional campaigns.
• Identify and solve problems together with store leadership.
• Ensure the store complies with all Nike standards and guidelines.
• Specialise in one business area while supporting cross-functionally: commercial (receiving, inventory accuracy, visual presentation, monthly initiatives), athlete experience, and consumer experience (sales floor service).

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a small team of peers.
• Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
• Flexible with scheduling, able to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays depending on department and store needs.
