About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting a commissioned Financial Adviser for its Westville, Chatsworth, Pinetown, Durban, Umlazi and surrounding areas team. The role champions customers' lifetime goals by identifying their financial needs, giving sound financial advice and recommending and implementing fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions. It is open to self-motivated, entrepreneurial individuals.

Key responsibilities

Procure new business
Expand sales of products and services with existing customers
Work mainly on your own leads

Required profile

NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit

Required skills

Sales: consultative selling, direct selling, strategic selling, building trust, strengthening customer relationships, qualifying prospects, identifying sales opportunities
Communication: oral communication, probing questions, customer understanding, customer service
Tools: sales data management and sales software
