Retail Branch Manager – Nongoma

About the role

The Retail Branch Manager will lead the Sanlam Retail Mass branch in Nongoma, driving customer acquisition, revenue growth and service excellence. You will develop and execute the branch strategy while ensuring compliance and a high‑performing team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue by implementing the retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants to meet targets.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture that ensures an optimal client experience.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, business planning and risk management.
• Manage people practices for direct reports, including performance, development and grievance handling.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities, and engage key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending.
