About the role
Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking an experienced Retail Branch Manager to lead its King William's Town branch. The role combines sales leadership, operational oversight and compliance within a dynamic financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy development and business planning
- Retail branch sales delivery
- Activations and sales & operational effectiveness
- Establish and drive a service culture
- Compliance, quality and risk management
- People management
- Monthly planning and reporting
- Stakeholder engagement
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) and passed FAIS RE5 and RE1
- 120 Wealth Management credits or tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA
- At least 5 years recent industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven sales track record and service delivery experience in insurance or lending
- Knowledge of insurance, financial products, FSCA, FAIS, POPIA, AML, KYC, National Credit Act and related regulatory frameworks
- Fit and Proper requirements and continuous professional development compliance
