Retail Branch Manager - Hammersdale

About the role

As a branch manager you will grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and executing the branch strategy. You will lead sales consultants, ensure a strong service culture and manage day‑to‑day operations, compliance and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in line with branch strategy.
• Lead service‑delivery culture to provide an optimal client experience.
• Develop and implement business plans, sales targets and monthly reporting.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across all branch activities.
• Manage people practices for direct reports, including performance, development and grievance handling.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5 qualifications.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Service management, insurance sales and credit/lending experience.
• Current CPD compliance and annual Class of Business accreditation.
