Restaurant Skills Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Skills Trainer to develop confident, capable restaurant teams through hands‑on coaching and practical training. You will work directly in stores, ensuring that all training aligns with our standard operating procedures and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging in‑store training sessions and one‑on‑one coaching.
• Support restaurant managers in improving team performance and operational consistency.
• Assess employee skills, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training records.
• Identify training needs, develop and implement tailored development plans.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Train‑the‑Trainer qualification (preferred).
• 1–2 years of restaurant operations experience; 3 years hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, customer service, and restaurant SOPs.
• Fluent in English and one additional official language relevant to the region.
• Own reliable vehicle and mobile phone; ability to travel.
