Responsible Complaints Person – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Responsible Complaints Person (RCP) supports the Quality Manager and local management in ensuring compliance with global policies and local quality procedures. The role includes acting as the primary contact for product complaints and providing backup coverage for the Middle East and North Africa region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Responsible Complaints Person and backup RCP for MENA.
• Manage product complaints in line with GQS 130 and local SOPs.
• Identify, collect, log and process all product complaints received.
• Retrieve complaint samples and arrange shipment to investigating sites.
• Close complaints and communicate resolutions to complainants.
• Perform quarterly complaint trending and analysis.
• Participate in related projects and training initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.
• At least 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with exposure to quality assurance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Product complaint management.
• Quality management system (QMS) operation.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and local quality guidelines.
• Quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations.
