Research & Information Pharmacist – 6‑month contract in Durban

About the role

This 6‑month contract position is for a Research & Information Pharmacist based in Durban. The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating and disseminating specialised pharmaceutical product information to support market expansion and clinical use.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, update and distribute specialised pharma product data from online platforms, databases, journals and publications.
• Create web‑based and printed articles and information sheets about the client’s specialised products.
• Provide training and continuing education to Product Consultants on clinical aspects, pharmacovigilance and information services.
• Support clinical research activities, including clinical dossier modules, PI/PIL review and risk‑management plan compilation where applicable.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree (mandatory).
• Experience in clinical research or clinical dossier preparation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with pharmacovigilance processes and risk‑management plan development is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex pharmaceutical information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
