Remote PHP Developer (Laravel)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join their growing development team. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining modern, scalable web applications using Laravel and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Build responsive, user‑friendly interfaces with Alpine.js, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain existing applications while delivering new features and enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Laravel.
• Experience with Alpine.js and React.
• Solid JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of relational databases, especially MySQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
