Remote Biologist (CRISPR & Gene Editing)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biologist with expertise in CRISPR‑based gene editing to lead experimental design and execution for innovative projects. The role is contract‑based, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and execution of CRISPR gene‑editing experiments.
• Develop cloning strategies to create novel constructs and cell lines.
• Perform genotyping, PCR assays, and sequence analyses to validate edits.
• Design synthetic DNA/RNA sequences and support high‑throughput screening workflows.
• Translate experimental data into structured formats for AI model training.
• Apply molecular biology techniques to study cellular components and organelles.
• Document procedures and results with high clarity to ensure reproducibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with CRISPR, cloning, genotyping, and PCR.
• Strong background in sequence design and molecular screening.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous scientific detail.
• Self‑driven, collaborative mindset and proven track record in high‑impact research.
