Relationship Banker

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Relationship Banker to deliver excellent client service within our Business Banking division. You will manage a portfolio of clients, retain and optimise their value, and attract new customers to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships on a many‑to‑many basis, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Promote and sell Business Banking products and services, highlighting features, benefits and value propositions.
• Administer Business Banking transactions and related processes.
• Analyse financial statements and prepare structured, compliant credit applications.
• Stay informed on regulatory requirements such as FAIS and FICA.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Business Banking environment.
• Certification in Commerce or Banking and a tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general banking practices, credit principles and client relationship management.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
