About the role
A vacancy exists for a Registered Nursing Sister reporting to the Nursing Manager. The role involves developing, coordinating, implementing and following up on quality nursing care policies, procedures and practices to meet the facility’s expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality healthcare services to older persons.
- Facilitate compliance with Badisa and internal policies, day‑to‑day care duties and professional standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system controls.
- Assist the Nursing Manager in achieving objectives and implementing the annual Care Plan.
Required profile
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) or e‑register proof.
- Relevant qualifications, experience and professional indemnity insurance.
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Availability Monday‑Friday 07:00‑16:00, with possible standby or shift work.
- Full bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
