Registered Nurse – Theatre Qualified

About the role

Glasshouse Recruiting is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with theatre experience to join a hospital team in Potchefstroom. The role involves delivering safe, cost‑effective patient care in line with hospital standards and supporting surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, following the Scope of Practice.
• Collaborate with doctors and communicate patient needs effectively.
• Participate in handover meetings at the start of each shift.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Manage stock levels, charging and crediting supplies appropriately.
• Promote patient health, wellbeing, and positive public relations with patients, relatives, and visitors.

Required profile

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Theatre qualification or theatre‑trained background.
• Computer literate.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and hours.
