About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with Neonatal ICU training to join a private hospital in Rustenburg. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will deliver holistic patient care within a multidisciplinary team and support the hospital’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and supervise nursing care in accordance with legislation and ethical codes.
- Develop and manage comprehensive nursing care plans using the scientific nursing process.
- Enhance patient satisfaction through quality‑improvement initiatives and complaint management.
- Maintain a safe emotional and physical environment for patients, adhering to SHEQ and infection‑control standards.
- Contribute to business efficiency by managing resources, stock, case management and billing.
- Coach, mentor and support performance management of unit staff.
Required profile
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Post‑basic qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry in South Africa.
