Regional Sales Manager - Hospitality

About the role

Legend Hospitality Group is looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Manager in Pretoria to grow domestic sales, develop new business and strengthen relationships with tourism and corporate partners. The role promotes the group's hotels, lodges, resorts, golf facilities and safari experiences while driving bookings and revenue growth within the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients and travel management companies, and conduct client visits, sales presentations and networking.
• Promote hospitality properties and prepare quotations and tailored proposals for accommodation, packages, group bookings and other services.
• Negotiate rates in line with company policy, follow up quotations and leads and manage existing accounts to generate repeat business.
• Collaborate with marketing, reservations and property teams, monitor market trends and competitors, and attend tourism trade shows and industry events.
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare regular sales reports.

Required profile

• At least 3 years' sales experience, preferably in tourism, hospitality or the travel industry.
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Tourism or Hospitality Management is advantageous.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close sales and achieve targets.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and a valid driver's licence with reliable transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with a CRM or reservation system is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, and strong organisational and reporting abilities.
