Regional Head – Financial Services

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an experienced Regional Head to lead business growth and performance in the Port Elizabeth region. This senior role combines strategic sales leadership, client relationship management, and portfolio oversight to drive revenue and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and achieve regional sales and profitability targets.
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across key sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee regional portfolio performance, monitor client exposures, asset performance, and risk indicators.
• Ensure execution of business processes, deal implementation, and alignment with company strategic objectives.
• Track and report on regional performance metrics, providing insights on sales trends and growth opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and manage regional teams to meet performance targets and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Maintain compliance with governance, regulatory, and risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 8‑12 years of experience in financial services, asset finance or business development within a commercial environment.
• Proven track record of driving sales, revenue growth and market expansion at a regional level.
• Experience managing client relationships, stakeholder networks and overseeing portfolio risk.
• Demonstrated leadership of regional teams and delivery of performance targets.
