Regional FSQA Lead – Africa

About the role

We are looking for a Regional FSQA Lead to drive the end‑to‑end execution of Yum! Brands food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) standards across Africa. The role will ensure compliance with global, regulatory and brand requirements across suppliers, distribution centres and restaurants, while shaping regional strategy and leading a Centre of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the Africa FSQA strategy aligned with global standards, ESG and brand priorities.
• Establish risk‑based supplier segmentation, supply assurance frameworks and data‑driven risk management.
• Oversee supplier approval, onboarding, performance management and compliance across food safety, quality systems, packaging and distribution.
• Lead CAPA programmes, audit oversight, product validation and specifications.
• Partner with franchise markets, suppliers, auditors and cross‑functional teams to build capability and embed standards.
• Plan FSQA requirements for new market entry and ensure readiness and compliance.
• Represent the region in global forums and cross‑functional FSQA projects.
