Regional Financial Controller

About the role

Feltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Regional Financial Controller to lead the financial management and reporting of its plant operations in the Eastern Cape. The role supports operational decision‑making by providing strategic financial insights, managing budgets and driving efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management and reporting for multiple plant sites in the Eastern Cape.
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Implement effective cost‑control measures and uphold strong financial governance.
• Provide strategic insights to support operational decisions and improve performance.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance and drive efficiency initiatives.
• Lead and develop the regional finance team.
• Collaborate closely with plant managers and group leadership to align financial practices with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial control or senior finance roles, preferably within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and financial governance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, cost control and performance monitoring.
• Strategic mindset with the capacity to provide actionable financial insights.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop a finance team.
