Recruitment Resourcer – Cape Town

About the role

Global Edge Group is seeking a Recruitment Resourcer to support its Africa‑wide recruitment operations from Cape Town. This full‑time position will focus on sourcing, screening and coordinating candidates for contract, contract‑to‑hire and direct‑hire roles, primarily within the energy and technical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking and internal databases.
• Screen and interview candidates to evaluate technical capability, cultural fit and availability.
• Coordinate interview schedules and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Prepare and submit qualified candidate profiles to recruiters and account managers promptly.
• Build and sustain a talent pipeline for current and future roles across Africa.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS/CRM system.
• Support offer processes, including pay‑rate discussions and basic compensation alignment where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with recruitment and account‑management teams to understand client needs.
• Stay informed on market trends, talent availability and industry developments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or talent acquisition.
• Exposure to technical recruitment in energy, engineering, mining, infrastructure, IT or renewables is a plus.
• Strong sourcing and candidate‑engagement abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with a collaborative team approach.
