Recruitment Interview Specialist – Remote (US Hours)

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Interview Specialist to join a fast‑paced, high‑volume recruiting client. The role is fully remote, supporting a U.S.-based company while working US business hours. You will conduct multiple first‑round interviews daily, ensuring a professional and consistent candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to job applicants using a streamlined dialing system.
• Conduct back‑to‑back first‑round interviews (approximately one every 20 minutes) individually or in group settings.
• Follow structured interview scripts and evaluation criteria for fair assessments.
• Ask screening questions to evaluate qualifications, availability, and fit.
• Record detailed notes in the client’s ATS immediately after each interview.
• Maintain a welcoming tone that positively represents the client’s brand.
• Manage time effectively to stay on schedule in a high‑volume environment.
• Communicate promising candidates or concerns to internal team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in recruitment, interviewing, or talent acquisition in a high‑volume setting.
• At least 1 + year of remote work experience.
• Fluent business‑level English.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage large candidate pipelines.
• Based in South Africa with availability to work full‑time US business hours (Monday‑Friday).
