Recruiter (Remote, South Africa-based)

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Recruiter to own talent acquisition for Monaco Solicitors and Grapple, a fast‑growing AI‑powered legal platform. The role is fully remote, based in South Africa, and focuses on building high‑performing teams across legal, operations, customer support and technology functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for multiple functions, from sourcing to offer.
• Partner with senior leadership to define hiring priorities and develop recruitment strategies.
• Write compelling job adverts and manage several live vacancies simultaneously.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for specialist and hard‑to‑fill roles using LinkedIn outreach, direct sourcing, referrals and market mapping.
• Provide an excellent candidate experience from initial contact through offer.
• Advise hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarking and best recruitment practices.
• Continuously improve recruitment systems, workflows and reporting.
• Support onboarding coordination to ensure smooth new‑starter integration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proven track record hiring across multiple functions and seniority levels.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple vacancies concurrently.

Required skills

• Advanced sourcing techniques and pipeline development.
• Experience with recruitment metrics and reporting.
• Knowledge of salary benchmarking and market trends.
