Receptionist

About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for the branch, handling the front desk, switchboard and a range of administrative tasks. You will ensure smooth communication between the Head Office, Dealer Network and Volvo customers while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls, take accurate messages and manage the switchboard.
- Greet visitors, notify hosts promptly and provide courteous assistance.
- Handle client queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate courier services for sending and receiving goods, documents and internal mail.
- Maintain courier records and assist with faxing, copying and scanning as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to all departments when required.
Required profile
- Matric/N4 qualification; receptionist, secretarial or administration training is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years experience in reception and switchboard duties.
- Strong administrative background and computer literacy.
- Excellent telephone etiquette, attention to detail and self‑motivation.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
