About the role
The Quantitative Specialist will join the Research & Innovation team to develop quantitative models, generate investment ideas and support portfolio decisions for the Public Investment Corporation.
Key responsibilities
- Build mathematical, statistical and AI‑driven models to optimise portfolios, manage risk and generate alpha.
- Research investment opportunities, analyse trends across asset classes and develop strategic asset‑allocation frameworks.
- Collect, clean and automate unlisted investment data, creating dashboards that summarise portfolio performance.
- Implement and manage systems that support asset‑allocation decision‑making and risk modelling.
- Lead, mentor and develop direct reports within the team.
Required profile
- Postgraduate degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics, data science, financial engineering, computer science).
- 8‑10 years of experience in quantitative research, modelling, portfolio construction, advanced analytics and AI/ML within financial services.
- Additional qualifications such as a Master’s, CFA, CAIA or FRM are advantageous.
Required skills
- Python, Pyspark, R, MATLAB, Databricks.
- Experience with AI/ML techniques: LSTM/deep learning, ARIMA, K‑means, XG Boost, Random forecast.
