About the role
The Quality Controller will develop, implement and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with standards, regulations and customer requirements. This role also involves conducting audits, managing quality documentation and inspecting materials and products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance systems and processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify improvement areas.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Data Book (QDB) and Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Communicate inspection findings, quality issues and corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Perform inspections of incoming materials, components and finished products.
Required profile
- Quality management certificate with a technical diploma or trade certificate.
- Level 2 SAIW certification.
- Experience with ISO 9001 standards.
- Proof of a strong quality background.
- At least 3 years of related experience with a diploma (or 5 years with a trade test certificate).
- Computer literate.
- Strong attention to detail.
