Quality Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Controller to join our team specializing in the refurbishment of industrial gearboxes and the manufacture of related components. The role involves ensuring that all products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements through rigorous inspection and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in‑process and final inspections of components and assemblies.
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometres, bore gauges and CMM.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances and customer specifications.
• Record and report non‑conformances, assist in root‑cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate inspection records, quality certificates and ensure document control in line with ISO standards.
• Support internal and external audits and promote a culture of quality and accountability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Project teams, providing timely feedback on quality issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Intermediate computer literacy, particularly MS Office.
