Qualified Petrol Technician

About the role

Morgan Motor Group is looking for a qualified petrol technician in Bethlehem. The main purpose of the job is to provide technical and diagnostic expertise within the service department and to advise colleagues on best-practice repair and improvement methods according to customer requirements. The position is full time and requires industry experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and diagnostic work on time as instructed.
• Advise and support colleagues on technical matters.
• Use diagnostic equipment correctly for vehicle examinations.
• Keep servicing within the manufacturer's target time percentages.
• Maintain vehicle care and safety standards while working.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers neat and clean.
• Make sure diagnoses lead to the most cost-effective and accurate remedy for faults or complaints.
• Complete job cards and vehicle details accurately before handing them to the Service Advisor.

Required profile

• Motor Mechanic trade certification.
• At least 3 years' experience as a technician in a dealership or workshop environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Clear criminal record.
